We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for artists to participate in our upcoming virtual exhibition: “Black & White.”
This open call invites artists of all levels, from emerging creators to established voices, to explore the timeless impact and expressive possibilities of monochromatic art.
Black and white imagery has long held a distinctive place in the visual arts. Free from the influence of color, it encourages a deeper focus on contrast, texture, composition, light, shadow, form, and emotion. Through simplicity, black and white often reveals complexity, allowing artists to communicate ideas and feelings with clarity and power.
Through this exhibition, we invite you to interpret black and white in your own unique way. How does the absence of color shape your artistic vision? What stories emerge through contrast? What emotions, ideas, or experiences can be expressed through a monochromatic palette?
Your work may explore portraiture, landscapes, architecture, abstraction, nature, identity, memory, movement, or any subject that resonates with you. It may be realistic or conceptual, minimal or intricate, bold or subtle.
Whether your work focuses on dramatic contrasts or delicate tonal variations, every interpretation is welcome. This exhibition celebrates the versatility of black and white as a visual language that continues to inspire artists across generations and disciplines.
From painting to photography, drawing to printmaking, digital art to mixed media, collage to sculpture, all mediums are encouraged to bring your vision of “Black & White” to life.
Join us as we celebrate the beauty, depth, and enduring appeal of monochromatic art. Let your work demonstrate how black and white can reveal perspectives, emotions, and narratives that transcend color.
This is your opportunity to showcase your vision on an international stage, connect with a global community of artists and collectors, and contribute to a collective exploration of black and white through art.
We look forward to discovering the perspectives, stories, and interpretations you choose to share.

“Black & White” invites artists to explore the visual power, emotion, and creative possibilities that emerge when color is removed and attention shifts to contrast, tone, texture, light, shadow, and form.
This theme is intentionally open and accessible, allowing artists to interpret black and white in ways that align with their own artistic practice. For some, it may be a study of balance and contrast. For others, it may be an exploration of mood, memory, identity, architecture, nature, portraiture, abstraction, or the everyday world viewed through a monochromatic lens.
Black and white has a unique ability to simplify while simultaneously revealing depth. Without the influence of color, viewers are invited to engage more closely with composition, detail, atmosphere, and emotion. What remains can often feel more direct, timeless, and powerful.
Your interpretation may be literal or conceptual, traditional or experimental. It may focus on striking contrasts, subtle gradients, bold graphic forms, intricate textures, or the interplay between light and darkness. Some artists may use black and white to create clarity and precision, while others may use it to evoke mystery, nostalgia, drama, or introspection.
Whether your work is grounded in realism or abstraction, minimalism or complexity, your perspective is welcome. You may explore:
Light, shadow, and contrast
Portraiture and the human experience
Landscapes, cityscapes, and architecture
Patterns, textures, and form
Memory, emotion, and atmosphere
Minimalist and monochromatic compositions
Abstract and conceptual interpretations of black and white
