Home can be a place, a person, a feeling, a memory, or a sense of belonging. It can be where we grew up, where we live now, somewhere we have left behind, or somewhere we are still searching for. For some, home may feel familiar and comforting; for others, it may represent change, distance, displacement, longing, identity, or the desire to belong.
Through this exhibition, we invite you to interpret Home in your own unique way. What does home mean to you? Is it connected to a particular place, person, culture, memory, or experience? What makes somewhere feel like home, and how does that idea change over time?
Your work may explore family, childhood, belonging, identity, roots, migration, memory, relationships, landscapes, architecture, domestic spaces, cultural traditions, or personal experiences connected to the idea of home. It may be literal or symbolic, intimate or universal, familiar or imagined.
Home does not have to be a physical place. It can be found in a familiar object, a childhood memory, a relationship, a community, a tradition, or even within ourselves. It can also be an imagined place, a home we have lost, a home we are creating, or a place we hope to find.
This exhibition celebrates the many ways artists understand and experience home across cultures, generations, and personal histories. We are interested not only in how home looks, but in what home means and what it makes us feel.
From painting, drawing, and photography to sculpture, printmaking, digital art, collage, mixed media, textile art, ceramics, video, installation, and contemporary practices, artists working across all visual mediums are encouraged to share their interpretation of Home.

Open Call for Artists presents Home, an international virtual exhibition bringing together artists from around the world to explore what home means to them.
Home can be familiar, distant, comforting, complicated, or constantly changing. It can be a place we know, a place we remember, a person we return to, a community we belong to, or a feeling we carry with us. Sometimes it is the home we grew up in; sometimes it is one we have left behind, built for ourselves, or continue to search for.
Through this exhibition, we invite artists to look at the idea of home from their own perspective and consider the places, people, memories, experiences, and emotions that have shaped their understanding of it.
The exhibition welcomes a broad range of interpretations. Your work might explore family, childhood, identity, roots, migration, belonging, culture, memory, relationships, domestic spaces, architecture, landscapes, displacement, nostalgia, or an imagined idea of home. It may be personal or universal, literal or symbolic, realistic or abstract.
Home does not necessarily need to appear in the artwork itself. It can be suggested through an object, a colour, a landscape, a familiar space, a personal story, or an atmosphere that reminds us of somewhere we belong.
Selected artworks will be presented in a curated international virtual exhibition, bringing together different artistic perspectives on the theme of Home.
The online exhibition will be accessible to audiences worldwide, giving participating artists an opportunity to present their work within an international group exhibition and allowing viewers to discover artists and practices from different parts of the world.

The feature gives audiences an opportunity to discover the artist beyond the submitted artwork and learn more about the ideas and experiences that shape their creative practice.
The interview may also be shared through our digital platforms, providing an additional opportunity for the artist and their work to reach a wider audience.
All submissions will be reviewed through a juried selection process, and submission does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition.

The application fee for Home is $12 USD, which includes the submission of up to 3 artworks for consideration.
Your application fee supports the administration, review process, curation, exhibition development, and promotion of the virtual exhibition. Every submission will be reviewed through the juried selection process, and selected artists will be featured as part of an international virtual exhibition.
We welcome artists at every stage of their careers and from all visual art backgrounds. Whether you are an emerging artist building your exhibition history or an established artist looking to share your work with a wider audience, Home offers an opportunity to present your work as part of an international group exhibition.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of submission.
Open to artists of all genders, nationalities, and backgrounds.
Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.
Artists working across all visual art mediums are welcome, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, digital art, mixed media, textile art, collage, and experimental practices.
Artwork submitted must respond to the exhibition theme: Home.
All submitted work must be original and created by the applying artist.
Artists may submit artwork that has been previously exhibited, provided they retain all rights to the artwork and submitted images.
Collaborative works may be submitted if all contributing artists are properly credited and have given their consent.

The deadline for submissions is October 12th, 2026.
Applications must be submitted before 11:59 PM (your local time) on the deadline date. We encourage artists to apply early and allow sufficient time to complete their submission, upload artwork, and review all application details before submitting.
Late, incomplete, or unpaid applications will not be considered.
Due to the volume of submissions received, deadline extensions are not guaranteed. We encourage artists to submit their work well in advance to avoid any last-minute technical or upload issues.
